In the Commerce Department, SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service is now fully eligible for a $42 billion federal rural broadband push that was previously inaccessible under the Biden administration.
At NASA, Mr. Musk’s nudges are prompting the agency to focus on Mars, allowing SpaceX to pursue federal contracts for sending humans to the planet.
Starlink satellite dishes have also been installed at the Federal Aviation Administration and the White House to expand federal government internet access.
